JDM 2010 Mitsubishi Lancer Evo X launched

This is the period of the year when all the automakers are launching their 2010 year models. Mitsubishi makes no exception as they announced the launch of the 2010 Mitsubishi Lancer Evo X JDM (Japanese Domestic Market) model. Some of the most important features of the 2010 Mitsubishi Lancer Evo X include some minor tweaks to the interior trim, beefier side skirts, improved insulation, the use of new plastics up front which are lighter by 1.5 kilograms than the older materials and a new color LCD screen between the speedometer and the rev counter with more functions.

A six speed twin clutch SST transmission will be the only option available for the top of the line Mitsubishi Lancer Evo X GSR Premium Edition, as the Japanese automaker decided to drop the five speed manual gearbox for this specific version. The 2010 Mitsubishi Lancer Evo X RS base model is sold on the JDM (Japanese Domestic Market) for 3.150.000 Yens or the equivalent of 24.100 euros.

The car looks very good but I am not sure how well will the Mitsubishi Lancer Evo X on the JDM (Japanese Domestic Market). I think that the North American and European markets are more suitable for a car like the Mitsubishi Lancer Evo X . Still, we will have to wait and see how things will go. To be honest, for a price of 24.100 euros, no matter how basic the Mitsubishi Lancer Evo X is, I think that it is worth it. For 24.100 euros you have a car that is large enough to accommodate a family and a lot of luggage in the trunk, looks great and has very good performances thanks to a powerful engine.
