Audi has finally officially launched its biggest dealership in the world after six years of planning and constructing. The largest Audi dealership is located in West London, adjacent to the elevated section of the M4 highway (for those of you who live in London, so that you know how to get there). The huge Audi dealership is five floors high and has two basement levels accommodating a 32 bay workshop and parking facilities. The Audi dealership occupies a total area of 190.000 square feet and was built for a cost of 45 million pounds or the equivalent of 48.2 million euros or 71.2 million dollars.
The top two floors will be given over to the Audi Quattro Rooms, which is a business and creative complex that operates as a conference center. The first three levels are showroom storeys capable of displaying up to 116 cars.
Jeremy Hicks, director of Audi UK has stated that ``In its scope, size and complexity, West London Audi is like nothing we have built before. It is 100 times more complicated than a normal retail centre``. He continued by saying that ``The sheer scale of this project is very emblematic of the increasing significance of Audi not only in the UK but globally``.
Audi expects approximately 30.000 customers at its West London dealership in the first twelve months. The huge Audi dealership located in West London will have a staff of 100 people.
I honestly think that this is a very impressive piece of work. I am a little surprised that it took as much as six years to complete it, but nonetheless from the looks of it, the Audi West London dealership is a state of the art work. Check out the photos below to see for yourself.
