First generation Audi RS6 modified by MFK

The first generation of the Audi RS6 was extremely popular, in both sedan and Avant versions. Even if a lot of time has passed since it was discontinued and currently on the market the second generation of the Audi RS6 is present, tuning companies still develop modifications for it. What we have here is a perfect example. The German tuning company MFK has developed a tuning package for the first generation Audi RS6. The tuning package manages to increase the output of the 4.2 liter V8 turbocharged engine from 450 horsepower to 520 horsepower. The 70 extra horsepower were obtained thanks to a reprogrammed ECU and a new exhaust system.

A set of 20 inch alloy wheels in a black finish with silver rims with high performance sport tires of size 285/25 R20 made by Dunlop and modified air inlets on the front bumper complement the engine upgrades. Unfortunately, pricing details were not revealed.

If the German automaker MFK will price this tuning package right, I am sure that there are a lot of current Audi RS6 owners from the first generation that would love to give their car a little extra juice and a makeover.

For those of you who do not know, the first generation Audi RS6 was produced between July 2002 and September 2004 at the Neckarsulm plant located in Germany.

We will just have to wait for some further details, of which the most important will be the pricing details which are vital for the success or failure of the tuning package made for the first generation of the Audi RS6 by the German tuning company MFK.
