Even if this might look like a real life shoot them up video, what you will see in the video below is a ballistic test performed by a German coach builder that specializes on armored vehicles named Mutec. Armored cars have to pass rigorous tests to make sure they deliver what they promise, even if we are talking about an extremely expensive car. The Rolls Royce Phantom is just like any other product (I can not believe I just said that) and has to pass certain tests in order to be considered an armored car.
The newest generation Rolls Royce Phantom production started in 2003. The Rolls Royce Phantom is a full size luxury car that is currently offered in three body styles, including four door saloon, two door drophead coupe/convertible and two door coupe (recently launched). The Rolls Royce Phantom is assembled at the Goodwood, West Sussex plant located in England and owned by Rolls Royce. The current generation of the Rolls Royce Phantom is the seventh generation of the legendary full size luxury car. The Rolls Royce Phantom comes with a ZF six speed automatic transmission and gets its power from a 6.75 liter V12 engine capable of developing 453 horsepower.
