Dacia - Romanian automaker might get a brand new Managing Director and Board Director as François Fourmont, holding at the moment these positions, retiring at 2009's end. As a result, Renault - French builder, who owns this firm from Romania, will be proposing Jérôme Olive on the Annual Meeting on 26th of November and afterwards at the Board Meeting.

'Jérôme Olive, born on 8 December 1957, is an engineer who graduated from the ICAM school of engineering in 1980. He went to work at Renault's Sandouville plant in 1982. He was involved in the R25 and R21 vehicle projects, occupying various posts concerned with the reliability of procedures and maintenance. In 1985 he joined the SBFM as Investments and Maintenance Manager, then as Production Director. In 1996 he moved to Renault Douai for the start-up of Scenic 1, working as head of the Body-in-White Assembly Department. In 1999 he became Deputy Director in charge of manufacturing, and was appointed Director of the plant early in 2004'.
It was born on 24th of December, 1948. Francois Fourmont worked as Renault group' Managing Director, in Romania, ever since last year, in March.
Renault took over Dacia in 1999 in September and since then, the company from Romania sold hundreds of thousands of units outside even the domestic market, having all cars rebadged, sold as Renault units.
