Production ready Lexus LF-A completely revealed

The 2009 edition of the Tokyo Auto Show has opened its gates, so it comes as no surprise the fact that just a couple of hours before the grand opening a video and a large number of high resolution photographs of the Lexus LF-A have hit the web. It seems that the Lexus LF-A supercar will get its power from a front-mid mounted V10 engine capable of developing about 550 horsepower. The powertrain of the Lexus LF-A is completed by a six speed automated manual gearbox with paddle shifters and a rear wheel drive system. Thanks to the impressive technical features, the Lexus LF-A supercar is able to go from standstill to 100 km/h in approximately 3.7 seconds. The maximum speed is said to be of around 200 mph or 320 km/h. Previous rumors claim that the Lexus LF-A will be produced in a limited edition of just 500 units of which 120 are going to be destined for the Japanese market. The same rumors claim that the Lexus LF-A will come with a price tag of about 30 million Yen or the equivalent of 222.000 euro or 328.000 dollars. Still, these are just rumors and should be taken as given, nothing more. I am more than certain that in a very short period of time we will get some official specs and further details of the Lexus LF-A supercar. Until then, sit back, relax and enjoy the huge photo gallery below and the video.
