Coachbuild based on Audi S5 by Benero

For those of you who do not know, a coachbuilder is a manufacturer of bodies for carriages or automobiles. But that is just the definition. A coachwork is the body of a motor vehicle (automobile, bus or truck) which is built around a chassis, rather than being of monocoque construction. This is just another definition. But what we have here seems to be more than just a definition. More precisely, what we have here is a special coachbuilt model that gets its power from a 4.2 liter V8 supercharged engine that was tweaked by the German company MTM in order to be capable of developing 525 horsepower. The creation has the Benero nametag on it and is a sports coupe that seems to be unknown, as we found no official webpage or official information about it.

The Benero is based on the Audi S5 coupe, a thing that we can tell even with the lack of official information and even though it is not obvious from the exterior appearance of the car. The fact that the Benero is based on the Audi S5 coupe is obvious after taking a look at the engine specs and interior.

From what we know, the Benero will be built in an extremely limited edition of only 50 units, each coming with a price of 600.000 dollars or 400.000 euros. The car looks extremely weird, it seems like it is a combination of a lot of cars from very different automakers. I am not sure if the price tag is worthy of the quality of the car, but it definitely is something new and original.
