Deutsch LA, brand new VW US Advertising Agency

Volkswagen's U.S. department said it will replace the advertising agency in Miami - Crispin Porter + Bogusky, that has worked with the popular auto brand nave, ever since 2005, featuring Deutsch LA, that will takeover complete responsibility involving advertising for VW and its products effective 2009, 1st of November.

Tim Ellis, Volkswagen of America's Vice President of Marketing stated 'Deutsch LA proved they have a firm grasp on how to manage the complex challenges we face in achieving our significant growth objectives. Of equal importance, they inspired us with a big, compelling, creative idea that will energize and motivate our passionate base as well as attract a broader group of people who have thus far not considered Volkswagen as a relevant choice'.

But, Deutsch LA is thrilled apparently with Volkswagen of America's partnership. Spokesmen from the advertising agency (newly signed) said it was a real challenge proving themselves to VW and the feedback, definitively positive, is the result of intense teamwork over 2 months.

Eric Hirshberg, Deutsch LA's Co-CEO/Chief Creative Officer affirmed 'Volkswagen probably has the best fifty-year portfolio of advertising that exists. And as far as the other agencies in the review, we felt like we were up against Mount Rushmore. The fact that they chose us to carry on this legacy is simply humbling'.

Mike Sheldon, Deutsch LA's Co-CEO said 'We haven't gotten a lot of sleep in the last two months. Everyone here stepped up because we all knew that opportunities like this come around once in a career, if you're lucky'.
