Daimler is growing financially in the 4th quarter

Daimler AG had positive development, the firm has registered quite an improvement on the 3rd quarter. Here's an example, its net profit for the 3rd-quarter was 56 million Euro; the 2nd quarter was 1,062 million Euro net loss. The revenue of the Q3 was 19.3 billion and Q2 had 'just' 19.6 billion Euro.

Daimler is expecting to become bigger in the 4th quarter – the last, but recognizes that important decreases in revenue and model sales in 2009, full-year are very possible now.

Dr. Dieter Zetsche, Board of Management's Chairman (CEO) at Daimler AG plus Mercedes-Benz Cars' head. 'In recent months, we have increasingly mastered the crisis. Daimler has been able to maintain its financial flexibility and has intensified the actions taken to enhance efficiency, while pushing forward with the development of new products and markets. We are now very well positioned and can look with confidence to the coming year, which will remain challenging due to the still-difficult situation of automobile markets worldwide'.

Daimler continued in a press release 'Mercedes-Benz Cars assumes that business will continue to improve in the last quarter of the year. Sales impetus will be provided not only by the recently launched new E-Class models and the station wagon to be launched in November, but also by the new generation of the S-Class, which was launched at the end of June 2009'.

The passenger vehicle department is expecting to post some lower sales this year compared to the previous one, but deliveries will be similar if you think about the huge growth posted, engaging markets like China.
