Employee of Chrysler got the award for Career Achievement

In the Industry Award, this weekend, The Women of Color Career Achievement has been given to Jayanthi Iyengar, the Chief Engineer, Electrified Propulsion Product Development of Chrysler Group. Iyengar got this award 'for making outstanding contributions in her field, and for being a role model and leader for others'.

Executive Vice Preident at Human Resources for Chrysler Group LLC - Nancy Rae said 'Jay joins a long list of accomplished women leaders at Chrysler Group who've received this important recognition. These women are terrific role models for all of us, and great examples of why diversity is so important to the future of the Chrysler Group and to the future of our country'.

Actually, Iyengar work is about developing, applying the technology of electrified propulsion to all car vehicle applications belonging to Chrysler Group. Her team, leaded by her is responsible for the development of electrified systems and advanced technology of plug-in type upcoming generation systems and cars.

Iyengar is involved in a few community and philanthropic activities too, providing counseling assistance and tax preparation to low the seniors and income families.

Iyengar stated for the press 'It is an incredible honor to be recognized in this way along with such outstanding and accomplished women leaders.
