4th of November 2009 You only get to celebrate your 100th birthday once, so why not make the best of it and make it last for the whole year, not just that certain day? This seems to be what Audi thought when they announced the launch of a special edition Audi TT Coupe for the Japanese market to celebrate 100 years of existence of the German automaker. Quite obviously, the special edition Audi TT coupe will be built in only 100 units. The Japanese people will be more than happy to get their hands on each of the 100 units of the special edition Audi TT 2.0 TFSI Coupe. The special edition model will be based on the Audi TT Coupe S-line and will be available in two special colors, either a bright orange finish or a pearl blue finish.
Other important features include an upgrade interior with black leather seats and contrasting stitching in white while the exterior also gets carbon fiber trim and 19 inch alloy wheels with 255/35 R19 sport tires.
Unfortunately, the German automaker did not reveal any details regarding the price or time of launch, but in short time we will surely find out more.
Audi was founded in 1909 in the city of Zwickau, Germany. In current days, Audi has its headquarters at Ingolstadt, in Germany. Since 1964 Audi is a subsidiary of the Volkswagen Group, being completely owned by Volkswagen. Currently, the Audi cars are being produced in five countries of the world, more precisely Germany (the cities of Ingolstadt and Neckarsulm), Hungary (the city of Gyor), Belgium (the city of Brussels), China (the city of Changchun) and India (the city of Aurangabad). Although being a subsidiary of the Volkswagen Group, Audi is the owner of the exotic Italian automaker Lamborghini.
