For car enthusiasts, the power of the engine is never enough. Speculating on this thing exactly, the German tuning company Wolf Racing has launched a new sport package for the fastest production series Ford in history. The standard Ford Focus RS has a 2.5 liter five cylinder turbocharged engine is capable of developing 300 horsepower and 440 Nm. Well, Wolf Racing likes to take things to the extreme, so they revised the 2.5 liter turbocharged engine so that it develops 60 horsepower and 119 Nm of torque more, for a grand total 360 horsepower and 559 Nm of torque. Quite impressive.
Obviously, such performance was not achieved by saying a magic spell. Wolf Racing got more power out of the 2.5 liter turbocharged engine of the Ford Focus by optimizing the engine software and turbocharger. Potential buyers will have to pay 1300 Euros or the equivalent of 1920 dollars for this engine optimization kit.
Obviously, as any fast thing, it must stop sometime, while being perfectly under control at any time. Don`t forget, you are the one driving the car, and not vice versa. In order to do that properly, Wolf Racing offers a new coilover suspension for 1300 Euros and an optional lowering kit for 220 Euros in order to improve the handling, while a new limited slip differential is offered for 2500 Euros that has the role to improve stop the car in a timely manner.
Decorative racing strips available in white, silver, black, charcoal, yellow, blue, orange or red are available for 100 Euros. A pair of 20 inch alloy wheels in various styles can be bought for a price of 1600 Euros (400 Euros a piece).
We will get to see the hardcore Ford Focus RS360 by Wolf Racing towards the end of this month, at the Essen Motor Show that will take place in Germany.
