Special edition Mercedes C-Class Executive SE launched

One of the most efficient marketing strategies in these hard times of economical crisis for the automakers is to launch special edition versions of mass produced models. Mercedes has taken up this strategy too. After they launched a special edition named Mercedes Benz E-Class Executive SE, now the smaller C-Class was up for a limited edition version. Following the name pattern of the E-Class, the German automaker announced the launch of the Mercedes C-Class Executive SE.

The Mercedes C-Class Executive SE gets both interior upgrades and an exterior styling pack. The Mercedes Benz C-Class Executive SE is based on the Mercedes C180 KOMPRESSOR BlueEFFICIENCY that gets an engine capable of developing 156 horsepower. The Mercedes Benz C-Class Executive SE gets chrome trim finishes for the exhaust and the boot lid, a sport grille with the integrated Mercedes-Benz star and specific 16 inch alloy wheels.

Moving on towards the interior, potential buyers will get a COMMAND multimedia system which has features like a PCMCIA slot, hard disk drive navigation, a 6 GB music register and Linguatronic voice control. A standard fitted upgraded multi function steering will be able to offer direct control to all these features.

According to the German automaker, the Mercedes Benz C-Class Executive SE offers extra equipment worth of 2200 pounds for a cost of 574.47 pounds. More precisely, the Estate version of the Mercedes C-Class Executive SE will have a price of 24.390 pounds while the sedan version will have a price tag of 23.190 pounds. Both versions are available on the British market starting this month.
