Huge photo gallery of Aston Martin Rapide released

After a very long period of waiting, we finally get to see a huge photo gallery of the latest creation of the British automaker Aston Martin, the Aston Martin Rapide. The Aston Martin Rapide in production form was launched during the 2009 Frankfurt Auto Show that took place in September. The Aston Martin Rapide is set to hit the market in the first months of the next year, so all you rich people out there get ready. The high performance sports sedan is set to compete with other models like the Porsche Panamera, Mercedes CLS or the Bugatti Galibier 16C.
The Aston Martin Rapide will get its power from a hand built 6.0 liter V12 engine capable of developing 600 Nm of torque at 5000 revs per minute and 477 horsepower at 6000 revs per minute. The Aston Martin Rapide can accommodate up to four people and has a boot capacity of 301 liters.
The drivetrain of the Aston Martin Rapide is completed by a rear wheel drive system and a specifically tuned six speed Touchtronic 2 automatic transmission that allows the driver to change gears automatically or manually through the steering column mounted magnesium paddles.
Thanks to the powerful engine, the high performance sports sedan can reach a maximum speed of 303 km/h or 188 mph while being able to go from standstill to 100 km/h in 5.3 seconds.
The Aston Martin Rapide has a height of 1360 millimeters, a width including mirrors of 2140 millimeters and a length of 5019 millimeters. The weight of the Aston Martin Rapide is of 1950 kilograms while having a fuel capacity of 90.5 liters.
