Turn-by-Turn Navmii navigation, now available on iPod Touch

An iPod fans premiere, Navmii Software - GPS solution provider, together with PosiMotion and GeoLife, announced recently the availability of turn-by-turn Navmii navigation, good for iPod touch.

Namii CEO - Peter Atalla stated 'At last more than 20 million iPod touch users, and many first generation iPhone owners can access simple, accurate, turn-by-turn navigation on their favourite device'.

'Combining Geolife's Navmii with the PosiMotion's G-Fi brings secure personal navigation to a whole new audience. Why buy an in-car solution SatNav when you can simply add the functionality to your iPod touch or iPhone at a fraction of the cost?'

Navmii says the software will be available for you to download it from Apple iTunes for 29.99 pounds. Combining the solution with the hardware G-Fi, you can use the iPod for satellite nav having smart routing, spoken directions plus interactive maps.

The provider affirms the software is perfectly compatible with the iPod Touch and even the iPhone from the first generation when it's used with G-Fi mobile PosiMotion network/GPS router. Exciting times...
