BMW has released a video showing the latest creation of their Motorrad division, the BMW Concept 6 motorcycle. As we previously told you, the BMW Concept 6 is a very fast motorcycle concept that will most likely enter production sometime in the near future. The BMW Concept 6 gets its power from a new 1.6 liter straight six cylinder engine, which is a great challenger for BMW , as not many other motorbike makes have tried to fit a six cylinder engine on a motorbike, not to speak of how few succeeded. The BMW Concept 6 gets a lot of elements from the BMW S1000 RR Supersport, including air guide elements and a twin tipped engine spoiler. The engine of the BMW Concept 6 is said to be approximately 100 millimeters or four inches slimmer than the previous straight six production engines and only somewhat wider than a large capacity straight four cylinder with conventional technology.
In the video released by BMW we get to see the Concept 6 motorcycle in something that appears to be a hangar. Unfortunately, we do not get to see any driving footage whatsoever. Still, in the five minutes long video we get to see a lot of close-up images of the motorcycle from a lot of different angles.
