Scion is trying to do all they can to gain some popularity from the public. At the upcoming 2009 Los Angeles Auto Show they will be having on display another limited edition model. The name of the new limited edition model will be Scion xB RS 7.0. Even if the name is real fancy and sounds nice, do not get too excited, as the limited edition model will keep the standard 2.4 liter engine that has an output of 158 horsepower that is available on the series production Scion xB .
The limited edition Scion xB RS 7.0 gets a four piece DAMD body kit that consists of an optional rear spoiler, front and lower lips along with side skirts. The list of features is larger than just a mere body kit. Still, strangely enough, the Scion xB RS 7.0 does not come with alloy wheels. What it does come with are the TRD lowering springs that bring the ride height down over an inch, in order to further enhance the stance and handling of the car. A sport exhaust system with twin double walled tips is also included.
Moving towards the inside of the car, we get to see a leather wrapped RAZO GT Formula Spec shift knob, specific black fabric seats featuring color tuned highlights and embroidered RS logos. All of these features are destined to add a little more exclusivity to the car.
The limited edition Scion xB RS 7.0 will be available for a base price of 18.320 dollars (with a manual transmission) or 19.270 dollars (with an automatic transmission) starting from the end of this month.
According the youth division of Toyota, there will be only 2000 units of the Scion xB RS 7.0 built, each of them featuring an individually numbered stainless steel badge.
