Fiat has announced today that in January 2010 the facelifted Fiat Grande Punto , which has been renamed to Fiat Punto EVO, will be arriving to the British dealerships. Along with this announcement, pricing details have been offered.
The Fiat Punto EVO will have a base price of 10.995 British pounds while the top of the range will have a price of 15.295 British pounds. The Fiat Punto EVO will be offered in five different trim levels: Active, Dynamic, GP, Eleganza and Sporting. All of the versions of the Fiat Punto EVO will be available with a choice of four Euro 5 engines, all fitted with Start & Stop as standard.
The engine range available for the Fiat Punto EVO includes two diesel engines and two petrol units. The diesel engines include a 1.3 liter MultiJet diesel engine capable of developing 75 horsepower and another 1.3 liter MultiJet diesel engine capable of developing 95 horsepower. The petrol units include a 1.4 liter MultiAir engine that has an output of 135 horsepower and a 1.4 liter gasoline engine that has an output of 105 horsepower.
The basic Fiat Punto EVO Active gets some important features, including Blue & Me infotainment, ABS anti-lock brakes with EBD, electric mirrors, airbags for the driver, passenger and knees, power steering as well as radio / CD / MP3 player.
The next version, the Fiat Punto EVO Dynamic gets extra features, including air conditioning, side and window airbags as well as leather steering wheel.
The Fiat Punto EVO GP gets extra features, including fog lights, rear spoiler and dark tinted headlights.
The Fiat Punto EVO Eleganza gets even more features, including rear parking sensors, alloy wheels as well as cruise control.
The Fiat Punto EVO Sporting gets 17 inch alloy wheels, sport seats, sports suspension, cruise control, air conditioning as well as side skirts.
