If an automaker wants to earn some cash fast, all they have to do is launch a special edition / limited edition of one of their model. It does not even have to be a special edition of the most popular model, it can be just any of the models they have. In the last couple of years practically all the automakers have been doing it. More precisely, they picked one or more of their models, they added a couple of features and some distinguishing badges that would make the owner feel like his car really were special and voila, the money starts coming. Obviously, automakers can not earn a fortune out of these special edition models, but it definitely helps them out.
Chrysler is no exception. The North American automaker is in desperate need of money, considering the impact the economical crisis has had on them. Thus, Chrysler has presented the 2010 Chrysler Town & Country Walter P. Chrysler Signature Series special edition model. The special edition 2010 Chrysler Town & Country gets its power from a 3.8 liter V6 engine that has been left untouched.
The special edition Chrysler Town & Country features ``Walter P. Chrysler Signature Series`` front door badges, an Deep Cherry Red Pearl Coat exterior paint, roof rack with cross bars, unique seven spoke 17 inch alloy wheels, body side moldings, chromed belt. Fascia accents finish off the exterior features of the special edition Chrysler Town & Country.
Moving on towards the interior, we get to see satin finishes on the instrument panel and doors, seating and trim combinations in Dark Slate Gray and Light Shale finished with French seamed stitching as well as unique Macassar Range wood trim.
The sales for the 2010 Chrysler Town & Country Walter P. Chrysler Signature Series will begin in the first quarter of this year at a price of 33.365 dollars per unit.
