The ultimate addition for the Sportback range of Audi, the A5 model, has crossed a few miles and is available at this moment in Australia too, having prices beginning from AU 78,400 Dollars for 2.0 TFSI, going to AU 89,100 Dollars for 3.0 TDI.
The managing director of Audi - Joerg Hofmann affirmed 'It seems that once again Audi has managed to successfully combine conflicting traits – blending emotional design with a car that is functional in terms of space, even offering a very large rear tailgate for ease of access. It looks beautiful. It drives very well. It is a great car for a family, for everyday use and I believe it will sell very well Downunder'.
'It will be our volume-selling model in the A5 segment and will make a significant contribution to our sixth record year of sales in 2010'.
So, this Australian variant of the Sportback A5 unit will come in just 2 engine modes, 3.0 TDI and 2.0 TFSI, both featuring S tronic and quattro all-wheel-drive as basic.
