Infiniti and Nissan will attend NYIAS 2010

We heard a few rumors saying Infiniti – the luxury brand and Nissan will not be present at the NYIAS (New York International Auto Show) 2010, the Japanese firms' representatives talked to the media, denying reports and saying that Infiniti and Nissan will attend this event.

Nissan unveiled furthermore that will see the brand new QX56 SUV model at this event, alongside some other units to be sold in America.

Scott Vazin - Nissan product public relations North American director said 'Infiniti will unveil the all-new QX56 full-size luxury SUV at the New York International Auto Show this spring. The show perfectly suits our needs in terms of launch timing, media attendance and, most importantly, our customer base'.

The organizers of the show assures us that all the important carmakers that sell vehicles at the moment in America will be at the event.

Candida Romanelli - show director affirmed 'Auto shows continue to be one of the best marketing tools for selling cars and trucks'.

Romanelli continued 'In fact, a recent survey conducted at last year's event concluded that auto shows are the number one most reliable source of information for consumers in the new vehicle market and that attending the show significantly increases their purchase consideration. In this economy, we understand the importance of every marketing dollar spent, and we are pleased that Nissan and others consider New York a sound investment'.

The International Auto Show 2010 New York will be open on 2nd of April running until April 11. The press days: 31th of March and 1st of April.
