Hamann – the popular German tuners have unveiled just now their final masterpiece, BMW X6M, scheduled for the official introduction at the Geneva Motor Show 2010. This new M SUV program, according to some details Hamann unveiled, points to modifications made about styling and performance.
BMW X6M Hamann runs with the basic engine, changed to provide 670 hp (493 kW) that's from 555 hp - 850 Nm torque 1,500 - 5,650 rpm, up from 679 Nm – the initial figure.
The SUV has the limiter removal and the ECU recalibration so, it gets 300 km/h (186 mph) as maximum speed, if you compare it to the first numbers which showed 249 km/h (155 mph).
The technical upgrades include intermediate pipe featuring x-venturi plus 1 sport rear muffler - 4 tailpipes and sport catalysts. The X6M Hamann has also a changed suspension mechanism, reducing by 40mm its ride height.
The tuners paid attention also to the styling features on the exterior, putting on an aerodynamic wrap that presents a modified spoiler, larger side panels, wheels of 22 - 23-inch and LEDs strategically mounted.
You can see on the inside - aluminum pedals, steering wheel – all new, leather sports seats, custom floormats plus a few additional accessories.
