The list of optional equipment available for the Volkswagen Passat CC is getting bigger and bigger. The newest addition to the line of optional equipment is a rear seat bench that can accommodate three passengers instead of the standard bench that accommodates only two passengers. Thus, the potential buyers that will choose this optional three seat rear bench for the Volkswagen Passat CC will practically have a five seat car instead of a four seat model.
The new optional rear seat bench for three passengers gets a third restraint and three point seat belt ant the center position while the folding backrest is asymmetrically split. The optional rear seat bench for three passengers will be available in Europe for an additional 100 Euros. Thanks to this new optional rear seat bench for three passengers, the differences between the sporty Volkswagen Passat CC and the Volkswagen Passat sedan seem to be getting cancelled.
In times of severe economic crisis, the entire industry does everything they can to get some extra cash in order to survive. Sure, it might not seem like much, but if you multiply 100 Euros times let`s say 10.000 customers that will choose this option you will get 1.000.000 Euros. Not bad for something that seems easy to come up with, right?
