If you live in Europe and do not plan to go to the United States of America anytime soon, then this might be your only chance to see the BMW 335is Coupe in motion. The German automaker released two videos in which we can see the new BMW 335is Coupe at the media presentation that took place at the Estoril race track in Portugal.
The 2011 BMW 335is is placed between the 2011 BMW 335i and the BMW M3 in the range of BMW models available in North America. The BMW 335is Coupe will hit the North American market in June this year and will have a base price of 50.525 dollars which is 7000 U.S. dollars more than the BMW 335i Coupe that gets its power from a 3.0 liter straight six cylinders turbocharged engine which has an output of 300 horsepower. In comparison, the BMW 335is gets its power from a twin turbocharged 3.0 liter inline six cylinders engine that has an output of 320 horsepower and 450 Nm of torque (500 Nm of torque with overboost activated). The powerful engine is coupled to a choice of either a seven speed dual clutch automated manual gearbox or a six speed manual transmission.
