Mitsubishi ASX based Citroen C3 Crosser imagined by designer

We all know that the relationships between Mitsubishi and the French group PSA (Peugeot – Citroen) are very good. To back up this statement we can look at the Peugeot i0n and the Citroen C-Zero that are the exact same car as the Mitsubishi i-MiEV or at the Peugeot 4007 and the Citroen C-Crosser that are based on the Mitsubishi Outlander . Thus, it is quite possible that in the future more common cars to be released by the PSA Peugeot Citroen group and Mitsubishi as a part of their collaboration.

An independent designer named Theophilus Chin tried to imagine how a Citroen version of the recently launched Mitsubishi ASX small crossover would look like. For those of you who forgot, the Mitsubishi ASX is the European name of the JDM (Japanese Domestic Market) Mitsubishi RVR. The new Mitsubishi ASX will make its world debut in March at the 2010 Geneva Motor Show. From his point of view, the car would be named Citroen C3 Crosser and it would be practically the same car like the Mitsubishi ASX , excepting some finishing touches from the French automaker. I have to say that the rendered images look pretty good and really offer us an image of how a Citroen version of the Mitsubishi ASX would look like. Who knows, maybe the French company will see the work of the independent designer and actually decide to start working on the Citroen C3 Crosser.
