Club Racer Lotus Elise is coming to Australia

The Australians have now a new reason for visiting their local dealership representing Lotus, as the British builder just launched its in Australia Lotus Elise Club Racer. The vehicle has exclusive, new color schemes, lightweight components and bespoke interior. With Elise CR you can drive fast, still keeping down the CO2 emissions.

Club Racer is inspired from the Elise S model, featuring a 4-cylinder 1.8 liter engine making 100 kw (136 HP). The auto weights only 860 kg. The CR has a retro look with 4 classic colors used by the firm in the ‘60s - Carbon Grey, Old English White, Sky Blue and Elite Yellow.

Lotus is offering CR badges, 6-spoke alloy wheels anthracite lightweight with tires Yokohama AD07 LTS, microfibre lightweight comfort seats, handbrake sleeve and anthracite gearknob, the CR logo (Club Racer) hand embroidered (seat headrest) plus the rare flooring - anodised aluminium for the passenger and driver.

Lotus Cars' Director - Luke Bennett said the special editions of Elise (award winning unit) have proved popular every time with our worldwide clients; it's expected this Elise Club Racer model to act the same. The color schemes are from the past, used in the 1960s on Elan and Elite, with a modern feel on the inside. Contemporary design wrap, classic feel, matching the peerless handling and ride of a Lotus plus the Elise convertible experience.
