Mercedes Benz museum in Stuttgart shown in 100 photos

Mercedes Benz is one of the oldest automakers in the world, being founded back in 1881 that has its headquarters in the city of Stuttgart in Germany. Such an important automaker deserves to have its own museum and it does have it. The Mercedes Benz museum is one of the most beautiful constructions from an architectural point of view, both on the exterior and the interior.

The Mercedes Benz museum has been designed by the UNStudio of Dutch architects van Berkel and Bos, Amsterdam. The interior styling of the museum is inspired by the double helix structure of the DNA spiral that carries the human genome. The Mercedes museum is located directly outside the factory gates at the Mercedes Benz main factory in Stutgart – Unterturkheim. In this museum visitors can see 160 vehicles as well as over 1500 exhibits from the 19th century to today on nine different levels and covering a floor space of 16.500 square meters. You will get to see from luxurious sedans to off-road vehicles to buses and commercial trucks and from vehicles that look like a chariot with an engine to modern state of the art cars.

Still, not everyone has the chance to live in Stutgart (or nearby) or to have enough money to visit the Mercedes Benz museum. Thus, what we have here is a real photo tour in which you can see the Mercedes Benz museum in 100 photos. Sit back and enjoy a virtual tour of the Mercedes Benz museum in Stuttgart, Germany.
