Skoda will start the production of Yeti in Ukraine

VW Group, that makes now in Czech Republic, Skoda Yeti, will begin the crossover SUV production at the end of this month in Ukraine. Eurocar is in charge now of VW Group's Ukraine operation and will be handling the production in that state, reported citing a statement of the firm. Yeti will cost about 25,000 Dollars in Ukraine, rivaling against Kia Sportage, Suzuki Grand Vitara and Nissan Qashqai.

You can find the car in Europe offered with a 5 engines choice, 3 diesel and 2 gasoline, making 103 - 167 horsepower. Its TSI 1.2-liter having front-wheel drive makes it the smallest unit in the lineup, closely followed by TDI CR DPF 2.0-liter which comes with 4x4 or front wheel drive. The best engine is the TDI CR DPF 2.0-liter all-wheel drive making 167 horsepower.

The pricing begins at £13,750 (22,532 Dollars) but, depending on the state, it could be different.

The Yeti entry-level is the E, that begins at £13,750; it's found in front-wheel drive, having either a TSI 1.2 model or the TDI CR 110 bhp 2.0 diesel engine. Yeti E has remote central locking, air conditioning, passenger and driver front side plus curtain airbags, single CD player - sound system, front electric windows and 16-inch wheels.

Yeti was revealed officially at the Geneva Motor Show in 2009 and in September went on sale in the European territory. Skoda's factory in Kvasiny, Czech Republic until now was the only plant making the vehicle.
