Glass top of Renault Megane CC in action on video

With a month before its world debut, Renault decided it was time to show the Renault Megane CC, in order to create more interest from the public ahead of the Geneva Motor Show. Now, they have launched a promotional video in which we can see the glass top of the Renault Megane CC in action. More precisely, we get to see the two piece retractable glass roof that folds away in the boot, transforming the car from a coupe to a convertible. In the two minute and 45 seconds long video we also get to see detailed shots of the car, both with the top on and folded, as well as the side windows. We also get to see images of both the rear and front lights. The final images of the video shows us the Renault Megane CC filmed from somewhere above and afterwards the luggage compartment and how much luggage it can fit.

The Renault Megane CC will compete against cars like the Peugeot 308 CC or the Ford Focus CC. The new Renault Megane CC will get its power from a large range of engines, including three dCi diesel engines with outputs of 110 horsepower, 130 horsepower and 160 horsepower while the gasoline units include a 2.0 liter engine that develops 140 horsepower, a 1.4 liter TCe turbo with an output of 130 horsepower as well as a 1.6 liter engine that develops 110 horsepower. The sales of the Renault Megane CC will begin this spring.
