We thought Tesla is working on the brand new Model S and nothing else, but surprise, the U.S. manufacturer worked hard on the Concept Eye, even though is not their design actually.
This IED Italian-based (European Design Institute) has credits for most of the labor done for this Concept Eye unit, having some consulting plus a badge from Tesla.
Some students designed the Eye model, an electric vehicle for daily use, which will be present at the Geneva Auto Show 2010 as a full-scale car. It measures 1.8 meters – height, 1.4 meters – width and 4.3 meter - length.
The Concept Eye doesn't have any technical details unveiled yet, apart of the fact it can have on the rear a battery wrap. So, what's more important even is the this, Quattroruote reported, that it can change its shape from a compact 4 door into a cabriolet 4 door or a pick-up model.
Tesla's not the only carmaker IED partnered with for the event in Geneva, as 2 more contraptions, 1 based on Aston Martin (Libido) and the other inspired by 4x4 Fiat Panda (Pygmy)will be presented too. Subscribe to Car news by Email |
