New sketch of Alfa Romeo Spider by Pininfarina hits the web

I have told you on numerous occasions that this year Alfa Romeo celebrates its centenary (centennial), as it was founded back in 1910, on the 24th of June to be more exact. A number of friendly companies, including ItalDesign, Bertone and Pininfarina have announced that they will create special edition models as homage for this special event. Until now, we know little to no details regarding the ItalDesign project. The situation is a lot different when it comes to the other two companies. We know what the name of the Bertone concept will be (Bertone Pandion) and how it looks. Still, the most exciting out of all three concepts is, in our opinion, the one developed by Pininfarina.

The Pininfarina concept seems to be a new version of the Alfa Romeo Spider, as we got to see a new sketch of the car today. You can see the latest photos of the Alfa Romeo Spider by Pininfarina below. Even though Alfa Romeo was clear enough to mention that the concept models developed by the three companies will remain exactly what their name suggests (concepts), the Alfa Romeo Spider by Pininfarina looks just fabulous and almost production ready (in comparison to the extremely futuristic Bertone concept).

We will have to wait and see the actual official revealing of the Alfa Romeo Spider by Pininfarina, but we are sure that if the Italian design company can make it just a little bit more down to earth, then Alfa Romeo will take into consideration the idea of producing this model.
