Facelift for Toyota RAV4 unveiled at Geneva

Toyota presented the facelifted RAV4 at the Geneva Auto Show this year, an unit reaching showrooms in these next months. The interior and the exterior have been modified, having a brand new front chrome-accented design and a changed front bumper plus all-new headlights catching your eyes fast when you look at the vehicle.

The new RAV4 has on the inside new seat upholstery (leather/Alcantara), having options at the moment included DVD players and navigation HDD systems.

This engine lineup has a few engines, beginning with a Valvematric petrol 2.0-liter configuration making 156 horsepower, 198 Nm torque - 4,400 rpm, 6,200 rpm. In the 2WD mode and fixed to a manual gearbox (6-speed), the engine is helping the auto accelerating from null to 100 km/h in just 10.2 seconds, reaching a 185 km/h (115 mph) top speed. In 4WD settings the engine however is offering a zero to 100 km/h run in only 10.5 seconds plus 185 km/h (115 mph) as maximum speed, meanwhile this sprint reaches 11 seconds featuring a Multidrive S transmission system.

A D-4D 150 2.2-liter diesel engine model is available too, producing 150 horsepower plus 340 Nm torque. Having a top speed of 190 km/h, this engine makes a 0-100km/h 2WD acceleration time period of 10.0 seconds, plus 10.2 seconds featuring 4WD.

You can find this engine having a 2nd configuration making 177 horsepower, having a 0-100 km/h performance in 9.3 seconds plus 200 km/h as top speed.
