UK pricing for Alfa Mito MultiAir

MINI has lots of competitors. The premium small auto idea worked really great for the British maker so other manufacturers became intrigued by this segment also. Alfa Romeo MiTo, 1 of the newest MINI competitors, has been updated now by Italians. The vehicle got MultiAir technology and other technical goodies.

MiTo MultiAir – model that just got to the United Kingdom, runs with a brand new MultiAir 1.4-litre Euro 5-ready engine, patented and created by FPT (Fiat Powertrain Technologies). The engine is found in 2 turbocharged shapes for UK. The 135 bhp variant costs 15,165 pounds for Lusso and 16,135 pounds for Veloce. The range top costs 17,895 pounds, it's named Cloverleaf. The model makes 170 bhp, needing only 7.5 seconds to sprint from 0 to 60 mph (96 km/h), managing a mixed consumption of fuel of 47.1 mpg.

MultiAir is not, as we said, the only brand new technology found on MiTo. Cloverleaf has active suspension (which is a 1st for this auto class), the Start&Stop emission-reducing system (found across the whole range), and DNA Alfa Romeo.

DNA is a racing world related system. This electronic 3-mode system is communicating with the steering, brakes, engine, suspension (on the MiTo Cloverleaf), plus transmission, that allows the driver adjusting the car responses, suiting the road conditions and driving style. The driver feels safe now on any street conditions, thanks to the limited slip electronic Q2 differential.
