15th of March 2010 Irmscher was launched back in 1968, so it is safe to say that it is one of the most experienced tuning and manufacturing companies on the market. The company was founded by Gunter Irsmcher and currently has its headquarters in Waiblingen, Germany. Irmscher is known as being a specialist in Opel (and Vauxhall) models tuning since their beginning. Currently they have done a lot of work on Peugeot models too, but Opel cars remain their cup of tea.
Their latest project is based on the new Opel Meriva MPV, which made its world debut only a couple of weeks ago. The modifications done to the Opel Meriva by Irmscher can be summed up as a sport package.
The sport package for the Opel Meriva consists of a number of interior styling modifications, including aluminum door pins and pedals, a leather package that covers the seats, door panels and central armrest, being offered in a large number of colors.
The exterior styling upgrades include a choice of 16, 18 or 19 inch alloy wheels, a new roof spoiler as well as a new radiator grille available in black or silver carbon fiber trim.
Exhaust silencer with elliptical twin exists along with a 30 millimeter suspension drop represent the only performance modifications done by Irmscher for the Opel Meriva.
