Chevrolet Cruze gets tuned by Irmscher

Chevrolet will introduce a brand new version of its popular Cruze in Germany, created in collaboration with German tuning house Irmscher.

Chevrolet Cruze can be ordered with a package called Irmscher Special Edition, which costs 1990 euros and offers several aesthetic upgrades, but no mechanical improvements. German tuners from Irmscher developed a package available only on intern market for Chevrolet Cruze.

For 1990 euros, Chevrolet Cruze gets an optional boot lid spoiler, 18" alloy wheels with 225 sport tires and aluminum door sills, a sport suspension and a final chrome exhaust. The option will be available only for Cruze's top engine, including the 2.0-liter VCDi engine that develops 150 horsepower or the 1.8-liter petrol with 140 horsepower.

Chevrolet Cruze is offered with a total of three engines, two petrol and one diesel.

According to the tuner, the diesel version accelerates from zero to 100km/h (62mph) in 8.0 seconds.

The Cruze Irmscher Edition is available for order at Chevrolet's German dealerships.
