A new set of spy shot were taken at Nurburgring, where the 2011 Suzuki Swift has been spotted.
The Swift’s styling is heavily influenced by the recently launched Kizashi sedan. The Swift retains its sporty demeanor, complete with short front and rear overhangs.
The front grille shows Suzuki’s new family face that made its debut on the Kizashi mid-size sedan. The front lights are completely exposed too; it seems that Suzuki is determined to keep the front of the car like this, while the rest of the car that remains camouflaged might still receive modifications.
The car comes in standard with a front wheel drive but customers can optionally choose a four wheel drive. The range of engines with which the Swift is offered consists of units from 1.2 liter to 1.6 liter, generating about 120 horsepower The power offered by these engines is enough for a car that is in the small car segment.
There are also rumors that a hybrid variant of the Swift could launch a few years after the new model hits the market.
