Chrysler selects Nassau to replace Sebring name

According to a recent report, Chrysler has chosen the name "Nassau" to replace its longtime Sebring brand name.

The Chrysler Nassau first surfaced as a concept car during the 2007 Detroit Auto Show, sporting some details that were later incorporated into the current Sebring model.

It will receive substantially different exterior designs and higher quality interiors while powered by either a 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine with 173 hp (129 kW / 175 PS) and a 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 rated at 280 hp (209 kW / 284 PS). A six-speed dual-clutch transmission is also expected, delivering much improved fuel economy.
