2011 BMW 5-Series goes online

2011 BMW 5-Series Online Configurator BMWUSA.com has officially launched the new 2011 5-Series sedan on their site. You can now go over and build your very own 2011 BMW 535i or 550i sedans.

The online configurator gives you the option to customize the new 5 Series, starting with the exterior colors and moving inside where several trims and leather options are available. You can choose from Deep Sea Blue Metallic, Mojave Metallic, Imperial Blue, Milano Beige, Dark Graphite, Space Gray, Titanium Silver and Black Saphire, or Alpine White and Jet Black paints, if you want non-metallic colors.

Inside, BMW offers a choice of seven different leather choices: Oyster, Black Nappa, Cinammon Brown and Venetian Beige.

The trim options begin with the Aluminum trim and continue with the popular wood options: Light, Dark and Anthracite.

The 2011 BMW 535i starts at $50,475 and is powered by 300-hp 3.0L twin-scroll turbocharged inline, while the 2011 BMW 550i starts at $60,575 and is powered by a 4.4L twin-turbo V8 rated 400-hp. Both models are available with a choice of a 6-speed manual transmission, 8-speed automatic transmission or new Sport Automatic 8-speed.
