Hyundai Motor America President and Chief Executive Officer John Krafcik today announced that Chris Perry has been named Vice President of Marketing for the company. He will report to Hyundai Motor America CEO and President John Krafcik.
Perry will be responsible for all Hyundai marketing communications and brand development in the United States.
Perry, with 25 years of leadership in key marketing and brand strategy positions in the industry, has been Director of Marketing Communications at Hyundai since 2007. He was in charge of Hyundai's consumer-focused marketing programs which gained the "Marketer of the Year" award from AdAge last year.
Prior to joining Hyundai, Perry worked in strategic planning and advertising for Isuzu, and held marketing positions at the Della Femina McNamee agency.
"Chris Perry is a passionate and talented marketing innovator who leads with a rare combination of consumer-focus, creativity, and teamwork," John Krafciksaid in a statement.
Perry received a Bachelors of Science in Marketing from California State University Northridge.
