Steinmetz released a tuning package for the Opel Astra

Steinmetz revealed, at this year’s Tuning World Bodensee show, a tuning package for the Opel Astra.

The modifications consist in a redesign exterior, aero package, a set of new rims and a lowered suspension.

The Steinmetz 2010 Opel Astra has been fitted with redesigned front and rear spoilers, a black front grille and a roof spoiler and the company includes polished stainless steel door handle as an option.

The car's FlexRide System has also been tampered with, and, as a result, the Steinmetz 2010 Opel Astra is now sitting with 30 mm closer to the asphalt.

"The Steinmetz lowering by 30 mm has been specially developed for city traffic, but is also ideal for a quick blast around the North Loop of the Nurburgring," stated the press release.

For the interior, finished to a high standard by Opel, Steinmetz has developed a gear display which shows the driver - in his color of choice - the gear currently selected. Foot mats with a stainless steel logo, and sill trims of polished stainless steel, complete the Steinmetz product range for the Astra.

The Steinmetz 2010 Opel Astra also features19 inch ST10 alloy wheels with a five spoke design and for which the tuner recommends Continental or Michelin tires.
