Subaru has announced the pricing and details for the 2011 Subaru Outback and Subaru Legacy sedan. Long story short, both models get a small price increase and some minor equipment updates.
Getting into details, new colors will be available for both models. Both models will also get some interesting improvements, including XM Satellite Radio and a three month trial subscription for Premium and Limited versions of both models that come equipped with Harman/Kardon audio. Also, both models will get manual folding exterior mirrors.
The 2011 Subaru Outback 2.5i will have a base price of 23.195 U.S. dollars while the 2011 Subaru Outback 2.5i Premium will have a base price of 24.495 U.S. dollars. Both versions get a 200 U.S. dollars price increase. The only modification for these two versions is represented by the addition of a Rear Vision Camera to the Power Moonroof Package.
For 28.495 U.S. dollars potential buyers will get a 2011 Subaru Outback 2.5i Limited with Lineartronic CVT (Continuously Variable Transmission). The 2011 Subaru Outback 3.6R (with a six cylinder engine) will be available starting from 28.195 U.S. dollars while the top of the line 2011 Subaru Outback 3.6R Limited will have a starting price point of 31.495 U.S. Dollars (including standard XM Satellite Radio).
The 2011 Subaru Legacy will keep the same basic price, excepting the Limited versions of the car. Thus, you can get a 2011 Subaru Legacy for as little as 19.995 U.S. dollars with a 2.5 liter engine. The 3.6R version of the 2011 Subaru Legacy will be available starting from 24.995 U.S. dollars.
With a price increase of 300 U.S. dollars (because of the addition of the XM Satellite Radio), the 2011 Subaru Legacy 2.5i Limited will come with a price tag of 25.295 U.S. dollars while the 2011 Subaru Legacy 3.6R Limited will have a starting price of 28.295 U.S. dollars.
For those who want to have fun, the sporty version 2011 Subaru Legacy 2.5GT will be offered only in Limited trim. Some of the most important features include aluminum pedals, silver contrast seat and armrest stitching, new simulated carbon-fiber dashboard trim, fog lights, XM Satellite Radio and standard power moonroof. The 2011 model year gets an increase of 405 U.S. dollars, for a price of 31.395 U.S. dollars.
