With work on the Aston Martin One-77 complete, Aston Martin is now preparing a minor facelift for its DB9. This prototype has been snapped while driving on and around the Nurburgring wearing no camouflage at all, leaving us to see all its details.

Aston Martin designers are preparing only a small facelift for the car, including new bumpers, a bigger rear spoiler and side skirts borrowed from the more extreme DBS. The car will be much more aggressive than the current DB9 is. Up front the lower part of the bumper has been reshaped with a single wider lower opening.

DB9 also sports clear lenses for the taillamps, a taller lip spoiler and a huge diffuser to help stabilize the car a high speeds, at the back.

It is expected to get some smaller technical upgrades and changes to the interior, while having a few extra options in terms of wheels and color. So a minimum extra 10-20 horsepower are expected from the V12 engine.

Aston Martin could even offer a new gearbox for the DB9, especially if the collaboration with Daimler will come to fruition.

The facelifted 2011 Aston Martin DB9 facelift will likely make its world debut at the 2010 Paris Auto Show before going on sale early next year.
