New body kit for Alfa Romeo Mito from Magneti Marelli

A new tuning package has been unveiled for the Alfa Romeo MiTo. The kit comes from Elaborazioni 1919, the new tuning division of Magneti Marelli, which is known as Fiat's electronics division and a major OEM supplier, which produces everything from ECUs to headlights. It worked with Ford and Microsoft and also developed the Kinetic Energy Recovery System for Ferrari.

The new package features a redesigned bumper with an integrated diffuser and a a rather divisive body kit made by Carrozzeria Castagna Milano with wheel arch extensions. The exterior is fitted with 18-inch matte black wheels, daytime running lights, and black headlight surrounds.

The modification package is also comprised of stiffer springs than lower the car by 30 millimeters, the "Parco Chiuso" dual-exit exhaust system with bypass valve, 305mm Brembo disc brakes and a competition ECU good for an extra 31 horsepower (23 kW / 31 PS). Each item can be ordered separately.

The division has also got packages in the works for the Fiat 500 and Grande Punto.

The Kit-One for the MiTo will be a limited edition to 200 units because Carrozzeria Castagna Milano will only build 200 body kits.
