A couple of hard-working spies found these days a Lotus Exige accompanying an Evora nearby.Besides the trade-mark V6 sound they heard, a more significant was spoted, widened wheel arches, wich sugest a larger wheelbase.
The current Lotus Exige runs on a Toyota 1.8 engine, and in it's supercharged series, it hets up to 268 HP.
Altough it's a lot heavier, the V6 engine that Exige and Elise will get from Evora is a lot more powerfull, producing up to 280 HP.
Rumours had been going around the Internet but nothing solid. It seems that the management changes at Lotus affected it's production, but now, after it's all settled down, the project continued.
