Hirsch brings the 2010 Saab 9-5`s power up to 335 HP

Hirsch Performance is famous in the automotive industry for their tuning packages for Saab models. Now, they've come with a brand new performance package for the 2010 Saab 9-5 which was recently launched.

The tuner only unveiled details on how the engine's performances were upgraded, but no details revealed about the 9-5ís styling package. However, it's expected to feature the usual exterior package: a boot lid / roof spoiler, a honeycomb grill, carbon fiber aerodynamic components and a stainless steel dual exhaust system. The 2010 Saab 9-5 will probably ride on 19 inch wheels.

As for the interior, the cabin will probably be finished in new high quality leather and will be fitted with a few sports accessories.

Regarding the engine, Hirsch is offering an update package for the car's all three available engines. The 220 horsepower four-cylinder engine moves up to 260hp with Hirsch tuning, while the not-for-North-America 2.0-liter turbo-diesel is upgraded from 160hp to 190hp. Hirsch is also claiming that it can pull up to 335 horsepower from the Aero's 2.8-liter turbo V6 engine.

Hirsch Performance has not specified the exact modifications that have been made to the engines. If we judge by the power increase, we're expecting to see a little more than just a set of ECU remaps. We're expecting elements like high-flow air filters and a less restrictive exhaust or air intake to boot.
