Fiat has just brought the Abarth 500C model to the UK. The right-hand-drive Abarth Fiat 500C is available in the UK with the same 1.4-litre turbo engine, mated to a manual automated transmission called Abarth Competizione, and is capable of delivering 140bhp and 206Nm of torque from 2,000 rpm.
The right-hand-drive version of the Abarth Fiat 500C is able to accelerate from 0 to 62 mph in 8.1 seconds, while the country's racetracks will see the vehicle reaching a top speed of 128 mph. The CO2 emissions of the RHD Abarth Fiat 500C are maintained to a decent level, thanks to its size and are rated at 151g/k, returning a fuel economy of 43.5 mpg, in the combined driving cycle.
The car is also fitted with a Sport mode that, at a push of a button, sharpens the gear changes, the engine responses and weights up the electric Dualdrive steering. The Torque Transfer Control (TTC) of the RHD Abarth Fiat 500C also gets engaged when the sport button is pushed.
The right-hand-drive Abarth Fiat 500C benefits from recalibrated spring and damper rates, for better handling. The braking power is provided by a system that uses four rotors, with a 284mm for the front axle and 240 for the rear one. A new aerodynamics package is also available on the RHD Abarth Fiat 500C, along with various interior styling elements, plus sport seats.
The RHD Abarth Fiat 500C will have a price starting at 17,500 pounds (OTR).
