Skoda Superb 1.6 TDI CR

Skoda introduced a brand new engine for the Superb models, namely a 1.6-liter common rail engine that will equip the Superb 1.6 TDI CR, motoring already known in the Volkswagen Group, part of the downsizing program initiated in the group lately.
This seems very small engine for a car that measures over 4.80 meters. But in fact the power has not changed, because the 1.6 TDI model is also developing 105 hp and 250 Nm of torque. The Superb 1.6 TDI CR 105 hp will have CO2 emissions value of 130 g / km and will be available in two body styles, Hatch and Estate, and two trim levels, S and SE. New Skoda Superb 1.6 TDI CR comes with a 5-speed manual gearbox, so the acceleration from 0-100 km / h is in 12.5 seconds (12.6 seconds for the estate version) and top speed is 190 km / h (188 km / h for the estate version).
Skoda has announced an average consumption of just 4.1 litres/100 km for the sedan, that is 4.3 litres/100 km combined.
The price for the new Skoda Superb 1.6 TDI CR is reaching up to 17,480 £ and 19,470 £ for the SE version.
