Chevrolet unveils the new Orlando

The new model is based on the Cruze sedan, the range of engines consisting of three engines:
-one base on petrol - 1.8 liters and 141 horsepower
-two diesel - 2.0 liters of 131 or 163 horsepower.
Prospective customers can choose three levels of equipment, the list of standard features including electronic stability control, six airbags, air conditioning and electrically operated mirrors.
Chevrolet Orlando is a true family car, a model that combines the pragmatism of a seven seats car with the interior flexibility with an unique design of the crossover. The new model adopts a bold look, with a lowered roof line and a silhouette inspired by the crossover model. The front is easily recognizable because of the radiator grille, while the slender line of the roof is completed by projecting wings, which house the wheels of 16, 17 or 18 inches.
Also, the interior presents the latest design elements from Chevrolet: the blue ambient light for the center console. However, the family men will be more attracted to the amphitheater style in which the seats are arranged on three rows, spacious cargo area and the numerous storage solutions. In addition, because of the many possible variations to configure the seats, Orlando can be quickly transformed into one of the most voluminous van models in its class for transport of cargo.
Production of the new Chevrolet Orlando begins in October and will go on sale in Europe in early 2011.
