According to the Paris Auto Show website, the Audi S1 is set to debut this September on the German stand, even though the company has not announced it officially yet.
The Auto Show page does not reveal any information about the car, so one can only speculate: one option would be for the new S1 to have a 1.4-liter TSI engine, the same as the one of the Seat Ibiza Cupra. Another would be a 2.0 TFSI engine.
What we do know is that the S1 is not going to have the Quattro drive system but it will have the 7-speed dual-clutch transmissions.
The new model is said to go on sale next summer.
