Honda is converting the CR-Z model into a sports one

The latest information shows that Honda is trying to crank out a new droptop sports car in order to keep its brand alive in the hearts and minds of its enthusiasts. Sources point to the fact that it is going to be more like a converted version of the CR-Z, rather than something like the much-loved version S2000. The front-wheel-drive layout is going to be retained, though a more powerful drivetrain would likely be fitted to lug around the additional weight of bracing and a folding top.
If the car were produced, it would be in a competition with the long-reigning Mazda MX5, and it were also successful, Honda producers would be interested in building a more potent, rear-wheel drive hybrid sports car.
